A Glimpse of My Heart

My greatest joy is my family. I am a caring person, listen well, have encouraging words to share and you can tell me anything in confidence. I am ready to lend my ear, to listen with my heart and extend the amazing grace and incredible joy and hope I found in the Lord. My faith and my family are top priorities in my life. I do everything I can to enjoy my family, to encourage them, to love and nurture them. I found true love with my husband, a treasure that I cherish and I am grateful for. Other than Jesus, my husband is my hero! My two sons are my heart with legs. I love them BOTH the most and love each of them individually. I find great joy in seeing them grow into such wonderful men. My family is my greatest passion. Being with them is what I care about most and what I build my life around and one of the main reasons I choose to work remotely.

I also enjoy my friendships and continually carry the thought, “be a friend that I want to have,” and do my best to live that out. I don’t do that perfectly, but perfection is not the goal. I love deeply and take my commitments seriously. I have an overall positive attitude and can be silly and playful at times. I enjoy the thrill and challenge of a new idea and I am always up to something. I learned that from my mom, who I also love dearly. Sometimes the thrill and challenge is found in ministry, work, a home project, a good book, or a TV series. Many things capture my attention.

I find my greatest adventure in my personal relationship with the Lord, digging in the scriptures and spending quality time with Him in prayer. I can spend countless hours reading the Bible. I enjoy learning about God’s great love story, talking, and listening to the Lord and I cannot wait to share with others. One of my favorite scriptures is Mark 6:31. Come with me by yourselves to some quiet place and rest. My favorite song to listen to is Alan Jackson singing “In the Garden”.

I live with the challenge of dyslexia and remain anchored to who I am in Christ to find confidence to express things in writing. I write exactly as I speak. You will find errors in my writing but that is part of my unique awesomeness.

I find busyness disconnects me from my ability to listen, to encourage and keep my commitments. If taken to the extreme, I can become apathetic; therefore, I keep my ears open and in prayer. I listen for the silent signals in my life and adjust accordingly to stay in a healthy place. I’ve learned the benefit of healthy boundaries and how to say no. Again, perfection is not the goal. Consistently surrendering my weakness to the Lord is the goal. I find God’s mercy and strength in my weakness and he has given me the opportunity to come alongside others who share in this struggle.

I'm SO GRATEFUL to EQUIP fellow believers with a framework THAT WORKS to overcome  time management obstacles so they can move their passion projects forward with a peaceful positive energy!

I am a lady who is living a life of loving God, my family, and my friends. I am living out my purpose by simply being who God created me to be. It doesn't matter WHAT hat I wear, it matters WHO I am in Christ and HOW I live my life.
If I want to leave this legacy, I must live this legacy.
